πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Work collaboratively with leading suppliers and essential supply chain partners to pinpoint opportunities for profit enhancement.

β€’ Determine the value proposition for all stakeholders and achieve consensus on advancing identified profit opportunities.

β€’ Create project plans, delegate responsibilities among stakeholders, and monitor the plan's progress toward successful implementation.

β€’ Conduct necessary analytics to ensure the lowest cost of service and negotiate with stakeholders to fairly distribute profit enhancements.

β€’ Serve as the primary contact for all issues (both field and home office) concerning top suppliers.

β€’ Partner with other departments and Owens & Minor field personnel to recognize and develop efficiencies related to the supplier process.

β€’ Act as the liaison with Global Supply Management to help top suppliers understand the advantages of O&M programs.

β€’ Establish relevant metrics for each supplier relationship and provide management reports to facilitate understanding of actual performance compared to margin enhancement goals.

β€’ Proactively inform field teams about vendor issues with top suppliers and collaborate with suppliers to devise effective mitigation strategies.

β€’ Design, implement, and maintain an operational and delivery program that sets a minimum acceptable performance standard and evaluates financial remuneration for performance below this standard.

β€’ Oversee the vendor appeal process and decide whether to accept or reject appeals.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.

β€’ 3 to 5 years of related experience, ideally in supply chain management or the healthcare sector.

β€’ Understanding of the interactions between supply chain partners within the Medical Surgical industry.

β€’ Remote US-based candidates will be considered if they meet qualifications.
