Supply Chain Forecasting Lead – Long-Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functional components of the forecasting engagement, from the initial assessment to the implementation of solutions.

• Collaborate with clients to establish forecasting requirements, process modifications, and anticipated outcomes.

• Assess solution alternatives and contribute functional insights for the design, including data and integration prerequisites.

• Examine and validate the forecasting solution against business scenarios.

• Evaluate the quality and dependability of forecasting outputs.

• Perform gap analysis between projected and actual forecasting results.

• Suggest enhancements based on forecasting outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 10–15 years of experience in supply chain forecasting.

• Practical experience in understanding and mapping current forecasting processes.

• Proficient in identifying gaps and collaborating with business teams on process enhancements and reengineering.

• Strong background in gathering business requirements, conducting solution analysis, and functional design and implementation.

• Solid understanding of various forecasting methodologies.

• Familiarity with forecasting tools and solutions, including SAP IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, o9, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience in evaluating forecasting solutions, performing fit-gap analysis, and executing implementations.

• Exposure to AI/ML-based forecasting techniques.

• Experience collaborating with data science and technical teams.

• Proficient in managing large datasets of transactional information.

• Knowledge of data dependencies and enterprise application frameworks.
