Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee and track freight shipments

• Liaise with various carriers concerning deliveries and shipments

• Monitor shipment status and delivery timelines

• Address and resolve delivery delays and freight-related issues

• Manage appointment and routing concerns with carriers

• Gather and relay updates on shipments

• Keep internal Operations and Customer Support teams updated

• Coordinate routing details for retail and other customer orders

• Ensure accurate maintenance of logistics records and updates

• Take responsibility for issues from their initial identification to resolution

• Escalate significant matters when necessary

• Ensure that orders stay on schedule and are delivered to customers punctually

• Primarily communicate via email, using phone and Microsoft Teams as needed

• Prior experience in logistics, freight, transportation, dispatch, or operations coordination

• Exceptional organizational and follow-up abilities

• Proficient in written and spoken English

• Comfortable interacting with various carriers and internal teams

• Strong attention to detail

• Capacity to manage multiple shipments and prioritize effectively

• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong sense of urgency and accountability

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in using email, Microsoft Teams, and standard office software

• Willingness to work hours that align with US business hours
