This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee electrical commodities/subcategories such as cables, harnesses, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, and chips.

• Implement supplier production strategies from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to full-scale production across all of Anduril’s business lines.

• Assess supplier production capabilities, factory layouts, facilities, and workforce for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List.

• Assist Product Sourcing Engineers, Global Strategic Sourcing Management, and Supplier Quality Engineers.

• Launch new production tooling and lines at supplier locations.

• Ensure that materials, processes, and tools meet product performance, quality, and demand specifications.

• Oversee supplier capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up.

• Initiate and manage statistical process control reviews at supplier sites.

• Identify and implement improvements in product design, processes, and factory layouts to decrease costs, supply risks, defects, and cycle times.

• Support root-cause analysis task forces and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed at suppliers.

• Collaborate with internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, as well as suppliers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing context.

• Proficiency in electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Prior experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high-tech, or a similar industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and certifications.

• Familiarity with the development of high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume setting.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
