Electrical Engineer, AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Assess the performance of frontier AI models in realistic clinical environments.

• Develop professional scenarios utilizing authentic files from daily clinical operations.

• Evaluate tasks such as clinical assessments and treatment plans, medication reconciliation and interaction checks, triage decisions, discharge summaries, patient education, and clinical protocols.

• Construct compact or multi-day scenarios to identify instances where AI models yield incorrect outcomes.

• Validate document claims against relevant data, sources, or facts.

• Analyze feedback to ascertain which elements are accurate.

• Create grading rubrics and become proficient in unfamiliar tasks.

• Articulate the reasons behind incorrect AI results, rather than simply stating that they are wrong.

• Work remotely with flexible scheduling and the option to utilize multi-day task timers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active or recent clinical license: RN, NP, PA, MD or DO, PharmD, or an allied health license with independent clinical decision-making authority.

• Preferred 2+ years of practical experience in your field; candidates with lesser experience may be considered if their practical work is substantial.

• Current or recent experience as a hands-on practitioner at an individual contributor level, not exclusively in managerial roles.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a full professional or native level.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex professional reasoning.

• Comfort with ambiguity and a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to interpret feedback and apply it independently.

• Quick adaptability to new tasks based on written instructions and materials alone.

• General familiarity with AI and LLM tools, such as Claude or ChatGPT.

• Basic technology literacy, including Google Workspace, browser profiles, desktop application installation, Excel/Google Sheets conversion, and file compression.

• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week, with no upper limit on weekly hours.

• Must reside in the United States, Canada, or the UK.
