This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Post, adjust, and monitor patient accounts receivable.
β’ Investigate, identify, and resolve issues that lead to delays in the submission or payment of accounts.
β’ Proactively communicate accounts receivable concerns to management to ensure compliance and accuracy.
β’ Carry out administrative and clerical tasks that support revenue cycle functions.
β’ Provide daily oversight and leadership to Posting Leads and Specialists in all regions.
β’ Meet productivity targets and ensure timely and accurate posting of payments and adjustments.
β’ Guarantee precise month-end balancing across all regions.
β’ Collaborate with operational staff to review and address issues.
β’ Assist with patient billing inquiries.
β’ Document patient accounts in the billing system.
β’ Stay updated on payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
β’ Manage daily posting operations and procedures.
β’ Oversee patient collections, including both internal and external bad debt, in all regions.
β’ Set up EFT/ERA.
β’ Monitor analytics production reports.
β’ Develop workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
β’ Act as the primary contact for posting leads, managers, accounting, and other stakeholders.
β’ Manage external sites such as Alle and Care Credit.
β’ Handle hiring, training, performance evaluations, productivity monitoring, scheduling, and performance management.
β’ Lead monthly team meetings.
β’ Participate in audits and process improvement initiatives.
β’ Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
β’ Travel to various locations as required.
β’ Report to the Director of Cash Management.
β’ High school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
β’ A minimum of five years of payment-posting experience in a medical environment.
β’ At least two years of leadership experience.
β’ Knowledge of third-party billing and collection requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.
β’ Extensive experience in posting recoupments and reversals.
β’ Ability to read and interpret Explanations of Benefits (EOBs).
β’ Strong communication, critical-thinking, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
β’ Professional, team-oriented, and results-driven approach.
β’ Capacity to handle complaints diplomatically and perform effectively under pressure.
β’ Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
