This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead and oversee a team of 10 to 15+ Mobile Inspectors within a designated geographic area.
• Ensure the quality of inspections and operational efficiency while upholding accountability and operational excellence.
• Assist with mobile inspections, new vehicle inspections, and floorplan audits.
• Guarantee that inspections and audits fulfill quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and provide support to Mobile Inspectors.
• Manage team performance through Lean Daily Management, remote and field-based audits, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Develop and sustain relationships with auctions, sales, remote dealer services, and other boundary partners.
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Quality Assurance to manage team productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with inspection processes and necessary disclosures and photos in the inspection application.
• Monitor inspection quality via digital and in-person audits and arbitration reviews.
• Provide coaching, implement corrective actions, and enforce discipline as required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Auction, and Remote Dealer Services teams to fulfill client expectations.
• Address issues and concerns for automotive dealers and commercial clients.
• Provide or coordinate training focused on skills and inspections.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and floorplan audits as necessary.
• Review work volumes, staffing levels, KPIs, and metrics from Lean Daily Management.
• Execute tactical plans with direction from the Mobile Inspections Manager.
• Acquire, distribute, and track company equipment.
• Promote and supervise safety procedures and practices.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma/GED and over 5 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Preferred one year of experience in team leadership.
• Preferred experience with mobile inspections and/or floorplan audits.
• Previous experience in body shop, mechanical, or estimating roles preferred.
• General knowledge of frame and body repairs along with mechanical understanding.
• Proficiency in technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, scheduling and routing software, and vehicle inspection applications.
• Proven business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational, customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented skills.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues effectively.
• Capability to work under remote supervision and manage remote employees.
• Visual abilities must include close, distance, and depth perception.
• Capacity to sit, stand, or walk for extended durations; bend, stoop, squat, or kneel; lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist height; and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work in moderate noise conditions and exposure to fumes and odors.
• Regular exposure to outdoor environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Physical ability and mental sharpness to perform duties successfully within the required timeframes.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
