Supervising Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical supervision mandated by the board to associate-level clinicians working towards full licensure.

• Assist clinicians in providing telehealth services to the Medicaid community.

• Supervise based on professional judgment and the requirements set by the state board.

• Guide associates in their journey towards licensure development.

• Offer constructive feedback that enhances clinicians’ skills.

• Aid associates in meeting Medicaid documentation and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid and active license in New York, with board approval to offer clinical supervision.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work.

• A proven history of assisting associates in achieving full licensure.

• Personal malpractice insurance ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).

• Knowledge of clinical documentation and treatment planning according to Medicaid guidelines.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various digital tools.

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, personal computer, and dependable internet connection.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Extensive clinical experience and robust diagnostic judgment.

• A collaborative mindset when working with associates.

• Ability to provide developmental feedback.

• Comfort in supporting Medicaid documentation and compliance tasks.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Current residency in the specified state.

• Independent licensure and board approval to supervise associates.

• Previous experience supervising associates to full licensure.

• Prior therapy or counseling experience with Medicaid patients.
