SUD Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Perform health assessments to evaluate substance use, co-occurring disorders, and overall well-being.

• Identify health issues and develop customized treatment plans.

• Prescribe and manage medications, monitor for side effects, and modify treatment as necessary.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Recovery Coaches, Case Managers, judicial partners, community organizations, the Holon care team, and external providers.

• Provide integrated, whole-person care.

• Act as a clinical consultant for complex or high-need cases.

• Educate clients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery support strategies.

• Ensure precise and timely documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and medical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.

• Conduct telehealth assessments, medication management, and care coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Nevada.

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Nevada.

• Current DEA license (and CDS where applicable).

• Several years of experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or psychiatry.

• Board certification in specialty is preferred.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Experience in addiction medicine or psychiatry is required.

• Effective and confident virtual communication abilities.

• Ability to navigate complex systems effectively.

• Empathy towards individuals facing substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health challenges.

• Availability for full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) based on arrangement.
