Subject Matter Expert – Linux, Red Hat OpenShift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments on both cloud and on-premise infrastructures.

• Offer expert advice on Linux system administration, kernel optimization, and performance enhancement for data and AI workloads.

• Execute and sustain container orchestration strategies, which include namespace management, resource quotas, and network policies.

• Create infrastructure-as-code solutions utilizing Ansible, Terraform, or Helm to streamline platform provisioning and configuration.

• Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to assess and configure infrastructure for production workloads.

• Enforce security hardening, manage vulnerabilities, and implement compliance controls across managed platforms.

• Deliver technical mentorship and facilitate knowledge transfer to client infrastructure teams during and post-delivery engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture and administration.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Advanced experience in RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) administration and kernel tuning.

• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.

• Strong understanding of container security, vulnerability scanning, and compliance hardening techniques.

• Solid understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) and enterprise storage solutions.

• Capability to work within a European time zone.
