This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete subcontract lifecycle for defense initiatives, encompassing acquisition, drafting, negotiation, award, execution, and closeout.
• Create, review, and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, specifications, statements of work, and various contractual documents.
• Lead negotiations with clients and vendors.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with subcontracts.
• Ensure that subcontracts adhere to relevant laws, FAR, DFARS, and industry standards.
• Prepare and distribute RFPs/RFQs.
• Assess subcontractor proposals for compliance and perform price/cost analysis.
• Keep accurate records, files, and documentation of contracts.
• Analyze contract terms, conditions, and requirements to ensure alignment with company values and objectives.
• Monitor the performance, cost, and schedule of subcontractors.
• Manage changes to subcontracts, including orders, additions, and deletions.
• Collaborate with internal project managers, the Contracts Manager, and external subcontractors/vendors to resolve issues and conflicts.
• Provide support as needed for the Contracts Manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5–10 years of pertinent experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or a similar field.
• Current U.S. security clearance up to Top Secret (TS), with the ability to maintain clearance eligibility.
• Must reside in the EST time zone.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and other applicable government procurement regulations.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to restrictions on U.S. Government contracts.
