This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and nurture client relationships for a designated portfolio of approximately 70–80 retirement plan clients.
• Deliver prompt, high-quality customer service, including proactive problem-solving and resolution of issues.
• Act as a reliable resource for clients concerning retirement plan administration and compliance issues.
• Handle all facets of annual retirement plan administration, encompassing compliance testing, government forms, and valuation packages.
• Conduct and/or evaluate annual compliance testing, which includes ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4), 401(s), deductibility, and 402(g) testing, as required.
• Review, prepare, and assist in the timely submission of Form 5500 for the assigned plans.
• Aid clients in adhering to relevant IRS and Department of Labor deadlines.
• Examine participant distribution and loan requests while supporting internal distribution and loan teams.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of plan records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the plan documents team on inquiries related to plan design and documentation.
• Assist during IRS and Department of Labor audits and provide support to external auditors.
• Work together with internal teams to address client and plan administration challenges.
• Engage in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
• Foster a team-oriented atmosphere and contribute to departmental objectives.
• Proven experience in administering qualified retirement plans within a TPA, recordkeeping, or retirement services context.
• Familiarity with ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor regulations pertinent to qualified retirement plans.
• Experience in performing or reviewing retirement plan compliance testing and preparing Form 5500 submissions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a client-service orientation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and cultivate strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in retirement plan administration systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Industry credentials such as QKA, QPA, or equivalent retirement plan designations are advantageous.
