Study Start Up Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust, long-lasting relationships with key investigator sites as the primary point of contact for ICON.

• Assist sites across various studies by enhancing communication, resolving operational challenges, and escalating issues when necessary.

• Partner with clinical operations, feasibility, and project teams to ensure alignment between site capabilities and study opportunities.

• Collect and disseminate site feedback and insights to guide protocol design, feasibility assessments, and process enhancements.

• Track the performance metrics of partnered sites, including start-up timelines, recruitment rates, and quality, while initiating improvement actions.

• Play a role in developing site engagement strategies, tools, and best practices to improve the overall site experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent clinical research experience.

• A minimum of 2+ years of SSU experience within a CRO or Pharma environment.

• Significant experience in clinical research with a strong background in site management, site partnerships, or site-facing roles.

• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities, establishing credibility with investigators and site personnel.

• A solid understanding of clinical trial operations, site processes, and the key factors influencing recruitment and quality.

• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

• Capability to oversee multiple sites and studies in a matrixed environment while ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.

• Legal authorization to work in Australia.
