• Engage advanced language models in discussions related to structural engineering subjects.

• Record instances of model failures to enhance reasoning capabilities.

• Interact with models regarding design scenarios and theoretical questions in structural engineering.

• Assess the factual accuracy and logical coherence of model outputs.

• Document reproducible error traces effectively.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in the development of high-quality training datasets for AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in structural engineering, encompassing structural analysis, materials science, reinforced concrete design, steel structures, earthquake engineering, bridge design, and finite element modeling.

• Proficiency in evaluating load path analysis, shear and moment calculations, structural dynamics, building code interpretation, structural stability, failure mechanics, and seismic load modeling.

• Capability to engage in conversations with advanced language models regarding design scenarios and theoretical structural engineering inquiries.

• Competence in verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness.

• Skill in capturing reproducible error traces.

• Ability to recommend improvements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills with the ability to demonstrate the thought process.

• A PhD in structural engineering or a closely related civil engineering discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, field inspections, building information modeling (BIM), or large-scale structural design projects is considered advantageous.
