Supply Engineer – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Initiate production activities by establishing glass orders, verifying the availability of hardware, and procuring custom hardware or materials as necessary.

• Anticipate demand and ensure that warehouses are adequately stocked.

• Assess and analyze both local and global suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, payment conditions, and delivery schedules.

• Procure consumables for installation teams and warehouse operations.

• Follow up with suppliers regarding order statuses and address any delivery or warehouse pickup challenges.

• Examine technical drawings and specifications to compile material lists.

• Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality standards prior to placing orders.

• Monitor changes in estimates and documentation.

• Ensure that technical documentation and component orders are completed punctually for container arrivals.

• Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, designers/engineers, and estimators.

• Assist teams with substitutions and change orders.

• Provide pricing and material details for budgeting purposes.

• Aid the warehouse team in confirming that parts correspond with technical drawings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering (construction, manufacturing, or related fields) or procurement/supply chain.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Fluent in English (C1) and Russian (C1).

• Exceptional organizational abilities with experience in creating material lists based on specifications.

• Experience in supplier negotiation and international sourcing.

• Comfortable using spreadsheets and procurement systems.

• Capable of thriving in a multitasking environment, effectively prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for reviewing technical drawings.

• Experience with CRM systems for purchasing and inventory management.
