This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct structural analysis and design for equipment, supports, foundations, components, and associated facility systems.
• Generate calculations, technical reports, design documentation, and engineering deliverables to facilitate project execution.
• Utilize analysis tools to assess loads, stresses, structural behavior, and design alternatives.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, electrical, and project teams to foster integrated design solutions.
• Evaluate field conditions, drawings, specifications, and engineering inputs to enable precise design decisions.
• Preferred experience of 3 to 10 +/- years in structural engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Experience in supporting nuclear, power generation, heavy industrial, or highly regulated facility projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis or other structural analysis techniques is advantageous.
• Preferred experience with Mathcad, MATLAB, or similar engineering calculation software.
• A solid understanding of mechanics, structural behavior, load paths, and engineering principles is essential.
• Exposure to hydraulics, fluid systems, or equipment-related structural design is a plus.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are required.
