This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Carry out thorough forensic investigations of structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion, source evaluations, premises liability claims, and roofing issues.
• Conduct site assessments and collect pertinent data for forensic evaluation.
• Utilize engineering principles and practices to analyze and evaluate structural challenges.
• Draft clear and concise technical reports that outline findings and conclusions.
• Offer expert testimony in legal proceedings when necessary.
• Remain updated on trends, codes, and standards within the structural engineering industry.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in forensic engineering is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience providing expert testimony in legal settings is advantageous.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee in the United States, in compliance with ITAR export-control regulations.
