Streetworks Compliance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive investigations on all Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) to uncover root causes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Utilize internal systems such as INS, Big Change, and Street Manager.

• Collaborate with operations to communicate failures and successes while implementing process modifications.

• Provide training for new hires and refresher sessions for the existing team on streetworks management.

• Identify initiatives and process enhancements that showcase efficiency.

• Manage and disseminate reports to broader functions, including upward management reporting.

• Coordinate with local authorities to synchronize activities and resolve conflicts.

• Partner with the Streetworks and Compliance Manager to drive positive changes and minimize fines and related expenses.

• Review FPNs within designated timeframes, accepting, disputing, or rejecting fines based on investigative outcomes.

• Offer guidance and assurance to operational managers, delivery teams, clients, and highway authorities to ensure streetworks are conducted safely, legally, and in compliance.

• Experience in a dynamic administrative, customer service, or operational support setting.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.

• Proficient in using computer systems and open to learning new software.

• Capable of managing workloads and adhering to deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in collaborating with various teams.

• A positive mindset and eagerness to learn new processes and systems.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

• Willingness to commit to a 12-month fixed-term contract.
