This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.
• Act as the main SET representative for the region, collaborating with the Global SET Lead and Regional Sector Leads / Group Leaders.
• Convert the global compliance strategy, governance, and priorities into actionable regional execution plans.
• Counsel regional leadership on prioritizing, sequencing, and managing capacity trade-offs.
• Prepare and assist regional leadership forums to facilitate timely, risk-aligned decisions.
• Integrate risk intelligence throughout markets, functions, and initiatives.
• Maintain an ongoing perspective of the regional risk posture by utilizing monitoring outputs, control performance, external signals, and business context.
• Identify systemic risks, cross-market trends, and secondary impacts.
• Articulate risks in terms of business impact, control effectiveness, and implications for decision-making.
• Escalate significant and emerging risks to Global SET using decision-ready narratives.
• Consolidate regional inputs into succinct, decision-ready insights and provide context along with “so-what” analysis.
• Collaborate with Global SET and Data & Analytics to accurately represent regional insights in enterprise perspectives.
• Oversee regional compliance initiatives and the 10 hallmarks.
• Sequence and manage initiatives to support risk-based execution.
• Track progress, dependencies, and delivery risks; escalate when intervention is required.
• Ensure reporting emphasizes impact, outcomes, and shifts in risk.
• Lead regional continuous improvement efforts aligned with global HCC transformation priorities.
• Anticipate downstream effects and promote the adoption of new working methods.
• Represent the region in Global SET forums and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance Performance Centers on expertise, best practices, and intricate compliance challenges.
• Identify themes, tensions, and scaling opportunities across regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or legal functions.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles within complex, multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, due diligence, monitoring, operational risk management, and compliance technology and analytics.
• Proven track record in leading multicultural teams.
• Excellent senior-level stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and accountability in line with C.E.O leadership principles.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
• Strategic, analytical, resilient, and adaptable mindset.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• An MBA, JD, or LLM is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCEP, CCEP-I, CIA, or CFE are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
