Strategic Project Lead – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the success of frontier financial AI pilot initiatives.

• Transform emerging use cases into validated programs that adhere to standards for financial quality, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.

• Influence the utilization of market data, financial statements, filings, disclosures, and quantitative and risk models for training and evaluating models.

• Convert pilots into scalable projects by establishing workflows, expert requirements, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with researchers and Appen’s global delivery teams to develop workflows and standards.

• Connect customer objectives with financial expertise and Appen’s global delivery capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background in finance, financial engineering, economics, or accounting.

• Over 2 years of experience in leading complex projects, operational workflows, or finance initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of financial data, markets, accounting, or modeling.

• Ability to assess the suitability of datasets for their intended purpose.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience in AI or ML companies, AI laboratories, or data annotation and evaluation projects is a plus.

• Background in managing finance-focused, technical, or data-heavy projects is advantageous.

• Familiarity with data pipelines, AI training workflows, model evaluation, or human-in-the-loop processes is a nice-to-have.
