Strategic Finance Manager, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive financial deliverables, encompassing forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual budgets and monthly planning cycles.

• Facilitate month-end closing through meticulous variance analysis.

• Collaborate with the Accounting team to uphold the integrity of financial data.

• Examine financial and operational data to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.

• Proactively communicate the rationale behind financial outcomes.

• Act as a reliable financial advisor to Platform leadership.

• Prepare and deliver analyses during business reviews.

• Convert complex data into straightforward recommendations.

• Develop and sustain financial models that quantify risks, opportunities, and investment trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or a comparable fast-paced finance environment.

• Proven experience managing large-scale OpEx budgets (including headcount, infrastructure, AI, and contractors) across various cost centers.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders regarding resource allocation and investment decisions through clear, actionable financial analysis.

• Advanced skills in financial modeling.

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.

• Practical experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite) or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).

• Capable of responsibly utilizing generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily tasks.

• Willingness to continuously learn as tools evolve and implement human-in-the-loop practices.

• Maximum of 3 applications allowed within a 6-month timeframe.
