Senior Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their business processes and objectives.

• Recognize process alignments and discrepancies, estimating the efforts necessary to address them.

• Establish and configure ERP solutions tailored to client requirements and priorities.

• Customize ERP systems to incorporate industry-specific workflows, reports, and dashboards.

• Evaluate and enhance business processes in line with finance best practices.

• Integrate financial processes within the ERP system.

• Provide training for end-users and administrators.

• Develop test plans and assist clients during the testing phase.

• Offer continuous ERP support and maintenance.

• Implement and uphold data protection measures to ensure compliance.

• Document system configurations, processes, and customizations thoroughly.

• Support change management initiatives.

• Identify risks and obstacles, collaborating with the project manager to resolve them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience working with ERP systems.

• Proficient user or consultant of BC Finance.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance.

• Experience in gathering requirements, configuration, testing, training, documentation, and troubleshooting.

• Strong background in accounting and finance.

• Knowledge of chart of accounts design, dimensions, sales tax, banking processes, and compliance requirements.

• Willingness to travel 25–40% of the time on average.

• Understanding of change management principles.

• Ability to present effectively to clients and navigate challenging discussions.

• Skilled in identifying and addressing issues while recognizing risks and blockers.

• Experience with ERP implementation frameworks.
