Financial Analyst – Corporate Decision Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Analyze and provide reports on monthly financial statements.

• Maintain and manage financial databases along with other information sources.

• Support strategic initiatives through financial and analytical expertise.

• Assist in the budgeting process.

• Address ad hoc reporting requests and respond to inquiries regarding financial reports.

• Update and sustain financial information.

• Deliver reporting and analytics to enhance operational profitability.

• Identify potential opportunities for revenue growth.

• Engage in the formation of budgets.

• Take part in quality assurance efforts.

• Engage in professional development activities.

• Participate in special projects related to financial analysis.

• Perform additional related duties as necessary.

• Stay informed about relevant federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

• Report any known or suspected unethical, questionable, safety, privacy, or compliance-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficient computer skills and dexterity for data entry and information retrieval.

• Familiarity with Windows-style applications and office software packages.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to present information clearly and professionally to various audiences.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

• Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Willingness to travel between and within facilities.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including more than eight hours per day.

• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, grasp, and perform manual dexterity tasks.

• Capacity to sit for extended durations.

• Ability to lift and move objects as required for Medium Work.

• Compliance with relevant laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and requirements.

• Master's degree, MBA, advanced qualifications, experience in financial analysis, forecasting/reporting, healthcare industry experience, and CPA certification are preferred but not mandatory.
