Strategic Finance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Direct long-term planning, scenario analysis, and initiatives for strategic planning.

• Manage analytical frameworks that assess economics based on sales motions and business lines.

• Oversee the financial assessment of significant investments and capital allocation strategies.

• Create business cases and ROI analyses to support resource distribution decisions.

• Collaborate with senior leadership across Finance and the business on strategic choices.

• Direct financial planning and decision-making support for Payments, which includes forecasting, P&L management, and investment analysis.

• Engage in M&A operations, encompassing financial modeling and due diligence analysis.

• Establish and enhance Finance tools, reporting mechanisms, automation, and analytical processes.

• Consolidate analyses and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Report directly to the VP of Strategic Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, investment banking, or similar analytical positions.

• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and Excel.

• Capable of independently structuring and leading intricate, cross-functional financial analyses.

• Skilled in addressing ambiguous business challenges.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert financial analysis into practical recommendations.

• Excellent executive presence along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders.

• Experience in a SaaS/software company is highly preferred.
