This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for essential materials and components

• Enhance pricing structures and delivery conditions

• Secure business through partnerships with suppliers

• Execute dual-sourcing strategies

• Provide support for commercial vehicle products throughout North America

• Initiate and lead cross-functional projects aimed at adding value and engineering improvements

• Monitor project progress, ensure milestones are met on time, evaluate and reduce supply risks, and suggest appropriate suppliers

• Examine cost structures and manufacturing processes of purchased products to facilitate cost-effective negotiations and optimized product development

• Collaborate with strategic suppliers to uncover growth and expansion opportunities

• Work alongside cross-functional teams on supply chain matters to guarantee supply continuity and operational stability

• Analyze key performance indicators, prepare management reports, and create implementation strategies for new projects

• Manage purchasing of products and services in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement and/or Engineering

• Familiarity with technical drawings and knowledge of custom components is highly advantageous

• Understanding of electronic components, their market dynamics, and supply chain is a significant plus

• Knowledge of automotive industry processes is a noteworthy advantage

• Strong analytical abilities

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions

• Strategic mindset with effective time management and planning capabilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Experience with SAP is an advantage
