This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for essential materials and components.

• Enhance pricing and delivery conditions.

• Secure business through supplier contracts.

• Execute dual-sourcing strategies.

• Provide support for commercial vehicle products throughout North America.

• Spearhead cross-functional value-added and value-engineering initiatives for currently procured products.

• Monitor projects and ensure timely achievement of milestones.

• Identify and address supply risks.

• Evaluate and suggest appropriate suppliers.

• Analyze the cost structures and manufacturing methods of purchased products.

• Negotiate based on detailed cost breakdowns.

• Assist Engineering in the development of optimized products.

• Work with strategic suppliers to uncover business growth and expansion opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee supply continuity and operational stability.

• Examine key performance indicators and prepare reports for management.

• Create strategies for the implementation of new projects.

• Carry out the procurement of products and services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement and/or Engineering.

• Strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic setting.

• Familiarity with technical drawings and knowledge of custom-made components is a significant advantage.

• Understanding of electronic components, their market, and supply dynamics is a considerable plus.

• Knowledge of automotive industry processes is highly desired.

• Excellent analytical capabilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Strategic mindset.

• Effective time management and planning abilities.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
