This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.
• Take ownership of and enhance existing partnerships.
• Cultivate relationships with current data and technology partners, ensuring productivity, spotting opportunities for growth, and renegotiating agreements as business requirements change.
• Propel customer success through data. Collaborate with data science and cross-functional teams to resolve customer inquiries, create a knowledge repository of best practices and use cases, and advocate for product and engineering enhancements that expedite customer insights.
• Identify and forge new partnerships. Analyze gaps in our data offerings (such as SDoH, clinical depth, and novel real-world sources), assess potential partners, and oversee the entire process from sourcing and due diligence to commercial negotiations, legal reviews, and integration.
• Increase data licensing revenue. Establish and enhance partnership operations to broaden the reach and value of our data offerings across life sciences, payers, providers, and research organizations.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience with analytical data products, data-driven solutions, or similar client-facing roles.
• Preferred experience with healthcare data and analytics solutions; experience in other complex industries (such as financial services, advertising technology, or government data) will also be taken into account.
• Proven track record in managing external partner or client relationships that have a significant business impact, including revenue responsibilities, contractual commitments, and engagement at the executive level.
• Capability to convert ambiguous business challenges into technical or analytical solutions and effectively articulate requirements between business and technical stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including payers, providers, and life sciences organizations.
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources and their integration, including claims, EHR, pharmacy (Rx), laboratory, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data.
• Awareness of healthcare data privacy and compliance concepts, such as HIPAA, de-identification methodologies, and data governance frameworks.
• Insight into data licensing and commercial data management, encompassing usage rights, licensing terms, volume-based pricing structures, downstream use cases, and audit/compliance requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to establish credibility and influence across cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, sales, and executive leadership.
