This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Drive regional sales performance by meeting and surpassing sales goals with high-value gastroenterology clients.
• Engage with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and office personnel through clinically-driven customer interactions.
• Analyze regional market conditions, identify access opportunities, and monitor competitive dynamics.
• Enhance pull-through effectiveness by coordinating strategies with Territory Sales Representatives and office staff.
• Collaborate with various Territory Sales Representatives in an overlay model to increase customer coverage and prescription depth.
• Act as a Regional Trainer by supporting new-hire onboarding, field skill enhancement, workshops, and capability development sessions.
• Participate in strategic business planning alongside the Regional Sales Manager.
• Work in partnership with Marketing, Training, Sales Operations, and other commercial team members.
• Utilize CRM systems effectively and manage expenses prudently.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience for external candidates.
• Internal candidates with a record of outstanding performance may be considered with fewer years of experience.
• Consistent achievement of sales goals with formal accolades (e.g., top rankings, awards, President’s Club, or equivalent).
• Proven success in launching new products and fostering adoption in competitive markets.
• Advanced analytical skills and business insight.
• Capability to develop and maintain professional relationships with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and key office staff in both live and virtual environments.
• Proficient in computer and digital skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, and other pertinent platforms.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple demands.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region, including overnight stays, and attend national, regional, and corporate meetings as necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in an overlay model (strongly preferred).
• Experience as a peer mentor, field trainer, or facilitator in workshops or meetings (strongly preferred).
• Previous experience in gastroenterology or other specialized therapeutic areas (strongly preferred).
