This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the strategic lead for major Electrification accounts, managing the relationship, planning, and outcomes.
• Sustain executive-level relationships from the C-suite and beyond.
• Conduct regular business reviews.
• Create a dynamic 3+ year account strategy that aligns with GE Vernova's priorities and customer goals.
• Champion the full range of GE Vernova's Electrification products and services, including HV systems and equipment, Protection and Control, STATCOM, Synchronous Condensers, Fixed and Variable Series Compensation, Battery Storage, Solar Inverters, and Energy Management software.
• Foster collaboration across business lines to deliver complex, multi-business-line solutions.
• Collaborate with Gas Power and Wind Power sales teams to enhance Electrification attachment rates.
• Partner with Enterprise Strategic Account Executive counterparts to boost penetration and refine strategy.
• Utilize technical expertise in HV equipment and electrical substation systems to distinguish solutions and expand wallet share.
• Develop and implement relationship mapping that aligns GE Vernova leadership with customer counterparts.
• Identify and generate ongoing engagement opportunities.
• Employ operational data, standard practices, and metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) to assess relationship health, account profitability, and strategic alignment.
• Provide quarterly reports on account growth and progress to the VP of Business Development for North America.
• 10 years of experience in direct sales, commercial management, account management, or a customer- or supplier-facing role within an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environment or an end-user setting.
• An engineering background with extensive technical knowledge of High Voltage equipment and electrical substation systems.
• 10 years of experience in the transmission & distribution (T&D) sector.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining C-suite customer relationships and managing intricate, multi-product strategic accounts.
• Proximity to a GE Vernova Electrification customer center of competence or a willingness to relocate.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 30%.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field — while a formal degree is valued, we prioritize your overall experience and professional accomplishments.
• Experience navigating a large, matrixed organization to align company strategy with customer strategy.
• Strong financial management skills, with knowledge of utility economics and the competitive landscape.
• Proximity to a major airport (within 1 hour).
• Preferred base location: Columbus/Akron, OH.
