This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Act as the strategic lead for significant Electrification accounts, overseeing the relationship, planning, and outcomes.
β’ Sustain executive-level relationships from the C-suite downwards.
β’ Conduct regular business reviews.
β’ Formulate a rolling 3+ year account strategy that aligns with GE Vernova's priorities as well as the long-term objectives, needs, and culture of customers.
β’ Represent the complete Electrification product and service portfolio of GE Vernova.
β’ Foster collaboration across various business lines to deliver complex, multi-business-line solutions.
β’ Partner with Gas Power and Wind Power sales teams to enhance Electrification attachment rates.
β’ Collaborate with Enterprise Strategic Account Executive counterparts to boost penetration and refine strategy.
β’ Utilize knowledge of high voltage equipment and electrical substation systems to distinguish solutions and develop counterstrategies.
β’ Create and implement relationship mapping that connects GE Vernova leadership with customer counterparts.
β’ Identify and generate ongoing engagement opportunities.
β’ Leverage operational data, standard work, and metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) to assess relationship health, account profitability, and strategic alignment.
β’ Provide quarterly reports on account growth and progression to the VP of Business Development for North America.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in direct sales, commercial management, account management, or a customer- or supplier-facing role within an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environment, or end-user setting.
β’ An engineering background with extensive technical knowledge of high voltage equipment and electrical substation systems.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in the transmission & distribution (T&D) sector.
β’ Demonstrated success in building and maintaining C-suite customer relationships while managing complex, multi-product strategic accounts.
β’ Proximity to a GE Vernova Electrification customer center of competence, or a willingness to relocate.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel up to 30%.
β’ A bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
β’ Experience in navigating a large, matrixed organization to align company strategy with customer strategy.
β’ Strong financial management skills, including an understanding of utility economics and the competitive landscape.
β’ An advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Proximity to a major airport (within 1 hour) is required.
β’ Preferred base location: San Diego/Los Angeles, CA.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
β’ Proximity to a GE Vernova Electrification customer center of competence, or a willingness to relocate.
