This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Take charge of business growth and market development in a designated geographic area for both the cloud-native connectivity suite (Gloo Gateway, Gloo Mesh) and the agentic infrastructure suite (agentgateway, kagent, agentregistry).
β’ Build collaborative relationships with Customers, Solution Engineering, SDR, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams.
β’ Organize and oversee prospect activities such as POCs, demonstrations, trials, and architecture assessments.
β’ Proven experience in successfully implementing systems and strategies that create a broader impact on the team.
β’ Possess a strong command of the technical domain related to service mesh, cloud infrastructure, AI agent infrastructure, security, and related markets.
β’ Create and enforce a consistent, repeatable process; mentor peers in executing this process.
β’ Proactive in keeping up-to-date with fast-evolving additions to Solo.io products and associated technologies β including emerging AI protocols like MCP and A2A β enabling fluent conversation and writing about them.
β’ Collaborate with Solutions Engineering to promote Solo.io products and related technologies by participating in speaking events (conferences, meetups, webinars) and disseminating content (blogs, articles) as necessary.
β’ Identify and engage with platform engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps personas facing the challenge of deploying agentic AI in regulated, large-scale environments.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience selling to DevOps, Platform Engineering, or AI/ML personas at the enterprise level.
β’ Proficient in Enterprise Software Sales with cloud technologies; experience or a strong understanding of the AI infrastructure market is a considerable advantage.
β’ A documented and consistent history of surpassing quota and plan objectives.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the skill to simplify complex cloud-native and AI infrastructure concepts for both technical and executive audiences.
β’ Knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, open-source go-to-market strategies, and CNCF project dynamics.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
