This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Drive laboratory sales growth by enhancing market penetration and promoting Ambry's range of genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Advocate for the clinical and financial advantages of our offerings to various stakeholders in hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices, including MDs, nurses, genetic counselors, and laboratory personnel.
• Actively seek and identify new business prospects within the designated territory.
• Concentrate exclusively on acquiring new business related to genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Formulate and implement targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, to convert new hospital and clinical accounts.
• Oversee a strong pipeline of potential accounts from initial engagement to final closure.
• Clearly communicate clinical and financial value propositions to secure commitments from new clients.
• Create and deliver impactful presentations customized for prospective clients.
• Maintain precise and timely sales pipeline information and activity logs in the CRM system.
• Consistently meet ambitious new business sales targets.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth account onboarding process following acquisition.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling laboratory services to healthcare professionals and hospitals, or in medical device sales.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM applications such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM.
• Proven track record of sales success in promoting a diverse portfolio of laboratory testing across various medical specialties.
• Capability to sell technically intricate products.
• Expertise in demand generation across a large geographical area.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
• Strong skills in time and territory management.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license unless otherwise agreed upon.
