Strategic Account Executive

📋 Description

• Assume commercial responsibility for a portfolio of nudge's largest enterprise clients, ensuring retention, renewal, and growth.

• Oversee the entire commercial renewal process, which includes strategy formulation, pricing, contracting, procurement, negotiation, and closing deals.

• Discover and secure expansion opportunities across diverse employee populations, business units, countries, and regions.

• Analyze complex organizations, cultivate new stakeholder relationships, and generate opportunities within current clients.

• Create and implement account plans that encompass commercial objectives, stakeholders, risks, opportunities, and actionable steps.

• Establish trusted relationships with senior professionals in Benefits, Total Rewards, HR, Procurement, and other key stakeholders.

• Link nudge's impact to clients' broader people and benefits strategies through persuasive commercial narratives.

• Collaborate with teams in Client Success, Professional Services, Product, and Leadership.

• Keep track of renewals, risks, expansion opportunities, and anticipated commercial outcomes.

• Serve as a trusted commercial representative for nudge with senior client stakeholders regarding financial wellbeing and the landscape of US employee benefits.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing and commercially expanding large, intricate enterprise relationships within the employee benefits or financial wellbeing sectors.

• Profound understanding of the US employee benefits landscape, with established credibility among senior Benefits and Total Rewards leaders.

• Knowledge of the broker and advisory market and its implications.

• Proven history of managing significant enterprise renewals and achieving high retention rates.

• Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts through upselling and expansion efforts.

• Experience in pricing, contracting, procurement, negotiation, and deal closure.

• Outstanding relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex, multinational organizations.

• Strong instincts as both a hunter and a farmer.

• Experience in developing strategic account plans, mapping stakeholders, and identifying whitespace opportunities.

• Excellent commercial judgment, organizational abilities, and forecasting skills; capable of managing multiple significant accounts and opportunities simultaneously.

• A collaborative, low-ego mindset with the ability to work effectively within a broader account team.

• A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude characterized by motivation, curiosity, resilience, and a sense of ownership.
