This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and generate store planning documents, which include remodel layouts, downsizing plans, and fixture reflow plans, utilizing AutoCAD and external references.

• Assess current store conditions and design optimized layouts that enhance adjacencies, customer flow, and productivity of selling space.

• Tailor Burlington prototype standards and merchandising strategies for non-prototypical and reduced-footprint settings.

• Provide scope-of-work recommendations based on specific store conditions, operational requirements, and budget constraints.

• Ensure adherence to Store Planning processes, standards, and merchandising initiatives.

• Manage remodel and downsizing projects from start to finish.

• Assist in phased remodel execution to reduce disruptions to ongoing store operations.

• Oversee multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.

• Collaborate with Architectural Project Management, Real Estate, Construction, Merchandising, and Field teams.

• Liaise with external architects and vendors to guarantee precise and timely deliverables.

• Communicate any changes that may affect schedules or store operations.

• Keep accurate store attributes and planning documentation in Lucernex and internal databases.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of planning documentation standards and processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5–7 years of experience in Store Planning / Retail Design is required.

• Proven experience in store remodels, downsizing, and space optimization initiatives.

• Experience in open-store environments and phased construction is preferred.

• Familiarity with adapting prototypes to fit existing store conditions.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and X-Ref is essential.

• Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of retail merchandising, fixture planning, and space optimization.
