This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Lead the sales of storage products and solutions within designated territories, industries, or accounts.
• Act as the key subject matter expert for storage and associated products.
• Develop and manage the storage sales pipeline while overseeing leads.
• Discover new business and solution opportunities in both acquisition and development accounts.
• Collaborate with account pursuit teams, account managers, Presales, channel partners, and HPE personnel.
• Enhance sales readiness and transfer storage knowledge to minimize client learning curves.
• Establish quota objectives and assist in shaping the future direction of storage product lines.
• Maintain pipeline integrity, account strategies, and internal sales resources.
• Evaluate solution feasibility and qualify opportunities appropriately.
• Negotiate and finalize profitable storage agreements.
• Build consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives.
• Position HPE products and services utilizing knowledge of competitors and industry standards.
• Develop channel relationships, enable key technologies, and collaborate on sales to end users.
• Lead and coordinate storage marketing initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted consultant for storage solutions within assigned accounts or regions.
• Communicate HPE strategy and portfolio to partners and advocates to identify new opportunities.
• Connect business and financial benefits to technology solutions, demonstrating ROI and TCO advantages.
• Foster customer relationships to enhance account retention and growth.
• Assist in deal closure with internal stakeholders and channel partners.
• Coordinate regional pursuit resources and manage external partnerships.
• May take on project management responsibilities.
• Citizenship in the United States is required.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance is necessary at the time of application.
• A minimum of 6 years of sales experience is required.
• At least 3 years of sales experience specifically within the Intelligence Community.
• Proven record of achieving progressively higher quotas and experience interacting with a diverse range of business customers at all levels.
• 2–3+ years of experience in storage sales is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of various vertical industries.
• A University or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in storage, cloud, solution, or service offerings as well as competitor products.
• Awareness of industry trends, partner/ISV solutions, and both traditional and emerging vendors.
• Strong financial acumen is required.
• Understanding and application of program/project management methodologies and processes.
• Capability to engage and sell to service providers.
• Ability to align partner skills with storage-related opportunities.
