This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of project ideas and study designs.

• Assist in creating proposals for both full-service and statistics-only projects.

• Conduct statistical analyses utilizing SAS and R.

• Create and maintain SAS programs for data processing, analysis, and reporting.

• Generate variables, execute data merges, and prepare analytical datasets.

• Implement suitable statistical methods to achieve project goals.

• Employ advanced SAS techniques such as repeated measures, survival analysis, SAS/Graph, advanced macros, or comparable methodologies.

• Produce tables, graphs, and deliverables for projects.

• Aid in scientific communication efforts, including conference presentations and publications.

• Engage in professional activities and attend technical conferences.

• Join weekly BMW meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives.

• Assist Directors and Executive Team members with BMW initiatives.

• Participate in budgeting and scope development activities under appropriate supervision.

• Comply with departmental SOPs and maintain quality standards.

• Travel domestically and internationally as necessary, approximately 5% of the time.

• Exhibit and uphold ICON's dedication to People, Clients, and Performance.

• Perform other reasonably related tasks as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Mathematics, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.

• Background in statistical analyses and experience with healthcare or research data.

• Proficient SAS programming skills, including data step programming, conditional statements, variable creation, data merging and concatenation, Output Delivery System (ODS), and statistical procedures.

• Experience with advanced SAS techniques such as repeated measures analysis, survival analysis, SAS/Graph, or advanced macros.

• Proficiency in R programming.

• Capability to generate statistical outputs, tables, and graphs.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

• Employment is contingent upon possessing the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
