Field Application Scientist – qPCR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer both pre-sales and post-sales technical and scientific assistance to clients.

• Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands-on training for customers.

• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support.

• Assist clients with qPCR technologies and their applications.

• Aid customers in data analysis, experimental design, and method development.

• Tailor technical support and communication to suit various customer profiles and needs.

• Work closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners to achieve customer and business goals.

• Cultivate and nurture robust, long-term relationships with customers.

• Engage in regular travel to support customer needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Relevant additional certifications are advantageous.

• Minimum of 2 years of applicable hands-on laboratory experience.

• Practical experience with qPCR technologies and their applications.

• Familiarity with dPCR technologies and applications is a bonus.

• Background in data analysis, experimental design, and method development.

• Experience in technical training, customer support, or troubleshooting is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant scientific software.

• Effective communication and presentation skills in scientific and technical contexts.

• Capability to adapt to varying customer profiles and requirements.

• Customer-centric mindset with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within teams.

• Good commercial insight and a positive attitude.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

• Flexibility and a willingness to learn.

• Fluent in German and professionally proficient in written and spoken English.

• Valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel 50%–75% or more.
