Field Scientist – MSAT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support before and after sales for the integration of Cytiva filtration technologies into client processes.

• Collaborate with the commercial team and research & development departments.

• Utilize Cytiva bioprocess filtration products, such as normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration, to develop effective process solutions.

• Perform feasibility assessments, provide technical consultations, conduct customer training, and execute bench-scale trials.

• Maintain strong customer engagement throughout projects to guarantee successful implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Travel to customer locations for technical meetings, execution of test work, technical presentations, and project evaluations.

• Offer technical consultation on scale-up and scale-down studies, testing plans, data analysis, process sizing, compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, specifically in MSAT, Process Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical role.

• Proven experience providing technical support and engaging directly with customers.

• Proficiency in Spanish (both written and spoken).

• Business-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to assist customers across Europe, especially in Spanish-speaking regions and other key European markets.

• Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production is advantageous.

• Understanding of purification and filtration techniques utilized in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing is a plus.

• Proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.
