Start-up Manager, FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various team members in a matrix setting to ensure site activation within designated projects.

• Supervise site activation in accordance with timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Facilitate the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and functional departments involved in site activation.

• Create recommended project implementation plans and guidelines utilizing PPD tools.

• Monitor and assess project status, ensuring successful progress and completion while providing metrics to senior management.

• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.

• Manage financial and contractual elements of studies related to site activation.

• Establish controls to align project resources and expenses with budgets, maintaining accountability to Global Project Management.

• Oversee technical and operational facets of site activation, including feasibility, site contracts, and coordination with country teams.

• Manage the assigned scope of work concerning timelines, costs, and quality standards.

• Identify and assess key issues impacting successful site activation, interpret complex data, make informed business decisions, and implement solutions.

• Cultivate customer relationships that align with assigned projects.

• Work in office, laboratory, and/or clinical settings with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious agents.

• Utilize necessary personal protective equipment.

• Travel occasionally, up to 20% of the time, to domestic and international site locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.

• 5+ years of pertinent experience.

• Equivalency may include a combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of cross-functional project management principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to identify and address risks related to contractual obligations.

• Cross-cultural awareness and adaptability.

• In-depth understanding of clinical research/development, medical and therapeutic areas, study phases, and medical terminology.

• Ability to lead, collaborate with, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Proficiency in utilizing various computer software.

• Strong communication skills for understanding and conveying spoken information.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Regular and consistent attendance is expected.

• Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours daily.

• Capability to lift and carry weights of 15–20 lbs.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.
