Start-up Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various team members in a matrix setting to ensure site activation for assigned projects.

• Supervise site activation for designated projects, adhering to timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Facilitate the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and functional departments involved in site activation.

• Create suggested project implementation plans and guidelines utilizing PPD tools.

• Track and evaluate project status, guaranteeing successful progress and completion, while presenting metrics to upper management.

• Recognize risks and formulate contingency plans.

• Oversee the financial and contractual aspects of studies linked to site activation.

• Set up controls to align project resources and expenses with budgets, being accountable to Global Project Management.

• Manage the technical and operational facets of site activation, including feasibility studies, site contracts, and country teams.

• Administer the assigned scope of work in relation to timelines, costs, and quality.

• Identify and assess key issues critical to successful site activation, interpret complex data, make informed business decisions, and implement solutions.

• Foster customer relationships in accordance with assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification along with relevant formal academic/vocational training.

• More than 5 years of relevant previous experience.

• Equivalency may be considered through a blend of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience.

• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with cross-functional project management principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Capability to identify and address risks associated with contractual deliverables and offer suitable solutions.

• Awareness and adaptability in cross-cultural settings.

• In-depth understanding of clinical research and development, medical and therapeutic fields, study phases, and medical terminology.

• Skills to lead, collaborate with, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Extensive knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Proficiency in using both in-house and commercially available computer software.

• Strong communication skills to comprehend and convey spoken and written information.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Regular and consistent attendance is required.

• Capability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6 to 8 hours daily.

• Ability to engage in frequent mobility, occasional crouching/stooping, bending, and twisting.

• Ability to lift and carry weights of 15 to 20 lbs.

• Ability to utilize required personal protective equipment.
