Start-up Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various team members in a matrix setting to facilitate site activation within assigned projects.

• Supervise site activation in accordance with timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Coordinate the flow of information among PPD teams, clients, and functional departments involved in site activation.

• Create recommended project implementation plans and guidelines utilizing PPD tools.

• Monitor and assess project status, ensure timely completion, and present metrics to upper management.

• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.

• Oversee the financial and contractual elements of studies related to site activation.

• Establish controls to align project resources and expenses with budgets, ensuring accountability to Global Project Management.

• Manage the technical and operational aspects of site activation, including feasibility assessments, site contracts, and coordination with country teams.

• Oversee the assigned scope of work concerning timelines, costs, and quality.

• Identify and analyze key site-activation challenges, interpret complex data, make informed business decisions, and implement effective solutions.

• Cultivate customer relationships aligned with assigned projects.

• Handle biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms while utilizing the necessary personal protective equipment.

• Occasionally travel, up to 20% of the time, to both domestic and international site locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

• 5+ years of prior experience, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• A combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered as an equivalent.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of cross-functional project management principles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to identify and address risks associated with contractual obligations.

• Cross-cultural awareness and adaptability.

• In-depth understanding of clinical research/development, medical and therapeutic areas, phases, and medical terminology.

• Ability to lead, liaise, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Capacity to work in an office/laboratory and/or clinical environment.

• Proficiency in using both in-house developed and off-the-shelf computer software.

• Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend spoken information.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
