This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead or assist in the development of significant grant proposals, concepts, and letters of inquiry from initial prospecting to final submission.
• Adhere to funder guidelines and submission criteria.
• Convert CodePath's mission, programs, impact data, and student outcomes into engaging narratives tailored for funders.
• Conduct research, synthesize, and translate program data into briefs, proposals, reports, and supplementary materials.
• Establish frameworks and narratives for intricate, high-value opportunities.
• Act as the primary or supporting author on major funder reports.
• Manage funder portal accounts, submission schedules, organizational credentials, and internal grant management systems like Asana.
• Create and sustain a shared repository of reusable narrative assets, templates, proof points, and boilerplate content.
• Collaborate with Finance, Delivery, Higher Education, and Data teams to transform program updates, metrics, and student narratives into funder-oriented stories.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance workflows for proposal, report, and asset development.
• Document writing patterns and organizational knowledge to refine AI-assisted drafting and automate routine tasks.
• Independently oversee assigned deliverables from data gathering to submission, implementing repeatable or AI-enabled processes.
• 5–7 years of experience in writing for institutional and corporate funders — including proposals, letters of inquiry, and funder reports. This must be long-form, funder-oriented content authored by you.
• Proven experience in documenting recurring work processes, optimizing them with AI tools, and delegating the outcomes to others.
• Capability to independently synthesize data by collaborating with data and finance teams, transforming information into precise narratives.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions while grasping programs and strategic objectives.
• Proficient in managing multiple deadlines, adapting to shifting priorities, and handling evolving information.
• Outstanding writing and editing abilities with a strong focus on detail and a strategic viewpoint.
• Preferred: experience in education, workforce development, or nonprofits focused on youth services.
• Preferred: experience in a social impact, technology, or technology-adjacent setting.
• Preferred: familiarity with CRM management, particularly HubSpot.
• Preferred: experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
• Preferred: comfort in creating simple visual assets using tools like Canva.
