Senior Database Report Writer – Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Develop reports based on user information and specifications.

• Maintain and modify programming logic for existing routine reports to guarantee timely and accurate data delivery.

• Evaluate current reporting methodologies.

• Create and manage computer- and web-based systems for data retrieval.

• Produce routine internal and external reports on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Conduct interviews with customers to gather criteria for requested data.

• Update and enhance programming logic in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.

• Provide assistance with system testing and offer technical support.

• Support departmental training initiatives.

• Collaborate on project teams to develop, maintain, and implement new processes, applications, policies, and forms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree; 2 years of relevant work experience may serve as degree equivalency.

• 3 years of experience with database, mainframe, or spreadsheet applications.

• 3 years of experience with Easytrieve, DB2, SQL, or similar programs (may overlap).

• Strong computer skills with a solid foundation in spreadsheet and database applications.

• High attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service, and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with mathematical or statistical concepts.

• Capability to understand differences among various dataset types.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
