Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Influence the development of IRIS, a key dental AI product from Overjet.

• Make architectural choices that align with the long-term objectives of the team.

• Enhance and maintain a production-level codebase.

• Connect IRIS with dental imaging hardware and third-party device ecosystems.

• Minimize engineering effort through tooling enhancements and structural improvements.

• Guarantee reliability and accuracy within a system utilized daily in clinical environments.

• Employ AI tools thoughtfully for systems development, including proactive methods for debugging and diagnostics.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience with deep knowledge in Windows systems development.

• Proficiency in process management, inter-process communication, concurrency, and hardware/device integration.

• Strong skills in C# and .NET.

• Comfortable with asynchronous programming and cancellation patterns at scale.

• Prioritize reliability and correctness in production-level software.

• Capability to make architectural decisions that benefit future engineers.

• Skill in building tooling and structural improvements that enhance team productivity.

• Familiar with AI tools and their effective use in systems development, including proactive debugging and diagnostics approaches.

• Must reside in Lahore, Pakistan.

• Availability to work from 7 am to 3 pm EST.

• Experience in designing and maintaining production-quality software deployed across 100 or more enterprise on-premise customer sites.
