Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices using Golang along with frontend applications.

• Create efficient customer interfaces guided by the design system.

• Enhance the performance and monitoring capabilities of services and applications.

• Foster improvements in team and business quality of life through automation, process enhancements, or the adoption of new technologies.

• Gather, process, and verify substantial amounts of financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Provide financial data to users to aid in informed business decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization and work alongside a technical team comprising approximately 30 technologists.

• Report directly to the Lead Software Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in writing Golang services and web application backends, deploying them within Docker containers.

• Capable of constructing componentized application frontends using React and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of performant SQL.

• Familiarity with clean code principles and the idioms of TypeScript and Go.

• Ability to review code and establish quality standards within the team.

• Willingness to learn and engage with a new business domain and product.

• Competence in communicating complex topics to colleagues.

• Capacity to discuss personal learning and skill improvement strategies.

• Availability Monday through Friday during the 9-5 EST/EDT hours.

• Potential requirement for on-call support.

• Experience with concurrent logic, such as goroutines, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI, is beneficial but not essential.

• Experience in configuring observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus but not required.

• Background in utilizing AI to enhance productivity and operationalize AI tools is helpful but not obligatory.

• Experience with MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is a bonus but not essential.
