Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices in Golang along with frontend applications.

• Create efficient, component-based interfaces utilizing the design system.

• Enhance the performance and observability of both services and applications.

• Elevate team and business quality of life by implementing automation, improving processes, or introducing new technologies.

• Continuously and reliably gather vast amounts of financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Process and validate the quality of financial data for user access.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization and the immediate technical team.

• Report directly to the Lead Software Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing Golang services and backend web applications.

• Familiarity with deploying services in Docker containers.

• Experience in developing component-based application frontends using React and TypeScript.

• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.

• Knowledge of clean code principles along with TypeScript and Go idioms.

• Capability to review code and set team quality standards.

• Willingness to learn and engage with a new business domain and product.

• Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to peers.

• Openness to discuss personal learning and skill enhancement.

• Experience with concurrent logic applications, such as goroutines, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab CI, is beneficial but not required.

• Experience configuring and using observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus but not essential.

• Experience leveraging AI to boost productivity and efficiency, along with production-ready AI tools, is advantageous but not required.

• Knowledge of MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is beneficial but not essential.

• Candidates should avoid using AI tools during interviews or technical assessments unless explicitly directed.
