This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Work across the complete technology stack.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end automated UI and API test suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript across various product verticals.
β’ Create and implement automated data generation tools and synthetic applicant profile creators using Python and REST APIs.
β’ Build front-end tools in React and TypeScript for external vendor teams and governmental stakeholders to generate test scenarios and monitor pipeline status.
β’ Construct, support, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that facilitate quality gates and feature-driven promotion practices.
β’ Lead rotating sprint triage sessions to troubleshoot failures within a complex multi-vendor setting.
β’ Determine if issues stem from cloud environment changes, vendor code releases, or test configurations.
β’ Provide code reviews and offer 1:1 mentorship.
β’ Set high standards for code quality and establish team development practices.
β’ Act as a technical liaison to client leads and external vendor teams.
β’ Assist with cloud infrastructure updates using Terraform.
β’ Integrate automated security scanning and navigate ongoing compliance processes in a FedRAMP/Public Trust environment.
β’ Over 10 years of professional experience in developing full-stack applications and tools using TypeScript and Python.
β’ Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
β’ Experience in designing complex systems that interact with external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
β’ Proven experience working on cross-functional agile teams.
β’ Ability to estimate complex engineering tasks accurately.
β’ Experience in directly communicating technical updates to client stakeholders.
β’ Strong diagnostic skills for failures in distributed, multi-vendor applications and microservices.
β’ Prior experience with federal government digital service projects or civic tech initiatives.
β’ Understanding of AWS GovCloud environments.
β’ Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance standards.
β’ Familiarity with observability tools.
β’ Experience in implementing synthetic test data generators or sophisticated mock data services.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Capability to fulfill other requirements for government contracts.
β’ Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.
β’ May be subjected to a government background check or security clearance.
β’ Must reside in the continental U.S.
