Staff Software Engineer – AI Discovery, Posture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop AI agent discovery leveraging Delinea's current cloud discovery framework.

• Include Microsoft Azure and broaden to AWS and Google Cloud as the platform integrates those services.

• Create discovery mechanisms for AI agents operating on endpoints.

• Evaluate the security posture of identified agents, focusing on configuration, access, and associated risks.

• Integrate discovered agents and their contextual information into the identity and attribution framework for governance purposes.

• Collaborate closely with platform teams whose discovery services facilitate the project.

• Report directly to the Director of Engineering for Securing AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 8 or more years of experience in building production cloud or SaaS backend systems.

• Practical experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

• Familiarity with asset discovery or inventory management systems.

• Experience in extending or integrating with existing platforms, rather than solely working on greenfield projects.

• Proficient in a modern backend programming language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.

• Capability to decompose complex, ambiguous issues and identify effective technical solutions with minimal guidance.

• Experience with endpoint agent or device management technologies.

• Background in security or posture management, including CSPM or CIEM.

• Understanding of AI agent frameworks and the authentication and operational behaviors of agents.

• Must not require any form of U.S. work authorization now or in the future.

• Required to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
