Data Solutions AI Application Developer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, test, and deploy applications that enable AI functionality using low-code/no-code platforms.

• Create user-friendly interfaces that showcase generative, agentic, and NLP-based AI features.

• Convert model outputs into business workflows and integrate these with existing platforms and use cases.

• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to move solutions from analytical settings like Databricks to production environments.

• Develop automation, orchestration, and system integration logic using Python and SQL when low-code tools fall short.

• Perform application performance testing and troubleshooting to improve reliability.

• Ensure that application solutions adhere to usability, accessibility, compliance, and performance standards.

• Utilize Agile and iterative methodologies, incorporating rapid prototyping and feedback.

• Assist with deployment activities and incident management as necessary.

• Collaborate across IT, platform architecture, and analytics teams to facilitate smooth production deployment.

• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.

• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in place of the required education.

• A minimum of five (5) years of application development experience utilizing OOP concepts or platform-based development is required.

• At least two (2) years of experience deploying applications using cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is required.

• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Experience in leading development initiatives is preferred.

• Experience in creating solutions within multi-tier or service-based architectures is preferred.

• Strong command of Python and SQL is necessary.

• Proficiency with low-code/no-code platforms like Databricks Apps and Microsoft Power Apps/Copilot Studio is required.

• Familiarity with Python UI frameworks such as Streamlit, Flask, FastAPI, or Django is desirable.

• An understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is essential.

• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards is needed.

• Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management is expected.

• Expertise in application troubleshooting and optimization is required.

• Proficiency in Agile, iterative, and/or test-driven development environments is essential.

• Occasional travel of up to 15% may be required.
