This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions within the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.
β’ Propel architecture and technical design across distributed services, APIs, and platform components.
β’ Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to convert business priorities into production-ready technical solutions.
β’ Provide technical leadership on complex projects, guiding implementation choices, managing dependencies, and addressing engineering compromises.
β’ Design, construct, and enhance cloud-native applications, microservices, and APIs.
β’ Establish and uphold non-functional requirements concerning performance, availability, failover, scalability, and security.
β’ Assess architectures and suggest enhancements for reliability, operability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
β’ Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and technical exploration for emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI capabilities.
β’ Utilize data and analytics technologies, including orchestration, non-relational data stores, caching, and extensive service integration patterns.
β’ Mentor engineers and engage in design reviews, code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
β’ Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams and organizational boundaries.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory, privacy, and security standards, including secure management of PII and PHI data.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering enterprise-scale software solutions within distributed systems environments.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and managing cloud-based enterprise solutions.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing modern microservices and scalable, cost-effective APIs.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
β’ At least 3 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
β’ Experience with AI/GenAI platforms and integrating intelligent capabilities within software products.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience (High School diploma + 4 years of relevant experience).
